Berry Breakfast Smoothie Bowl

I have to say I’ve enjoyed eating a healthy diet for years now, and I’ve loved seeing the results in my body and mind. With that said, I have a major sweet tooth, and choosing healthier options can often be challenging when a bar of chocolate is just so easy to grab.


That’s why I love having nutritious smoothie bowls for breakfast. This berry bowl is one of my go-tos, particularly if I’ve had a heavy training session the night before. This bowl is high protein, packed with anti inflammatory berries and tastes delicious.


All of these fresh ingredients were bought from Waterfront Market in Dubai, the home of the freshest and best value for money groceries. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend this market any more highly.


Oh I forget to mention… It’s ready in just a few mins!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup nut milk of your choice (I use oat milk)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 serving optimum nutrition plant based protein
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (raspberries and blueberries are great)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 Tbsp jumbo oats
  • Toppings of your choice - I’ve used kiwi and strawberry here
Method

Blend all the ingredients together & serve with topping of your choice. It really is that simple!
